Bobotie is something we had on the dinner menu at least twice a week when I lived at home in South Africa.
Bobotie, pronounced ~ buh bwo ti ~ , kind of ;), is a curried ground beef dish with an egg and cream based topping.
Usually it is made with chutney or apricot jam, soaked white bread in milk and other naughty but delicious ingredients.
I found a super scrumptious recipe online that keeps the traditional flavour but takes out all the bad. Keeping it low carb but scrummy.
