Every now and then I see the option to use “Chia eggs” as a substitute for real eggs, so I went digging around to see what all the fuss is.
Don’t get me wrong I love a good egg, but this could be a suitable option for those with allergies to egg or who are simply vegan.
What you will need:
1 tbslp chia seeds
3 tblsp water
Grind chia seeds into a powder/meal using a food processor. I used the nutribullet milling attachment.
Mix with water in a small bowl
Leave for aprox 5 min until it has goopy-like texture, similar to egg whites.
